‘pov i used to study illustration at camberwell’

Nearing our third year since graduating Camberwell College of Arts, and third year missing out on a degree show due to the Covid-19 pandemic, me and my fellow alumni’s decided on putting on a show of our own, showing the work we have got up to since we left and where our practice has got to.

I created a large print acting as a parody of one of my favourite paintings (The Spell by Francisco de Goya) and bringing in a lot of my comedy used in my work and filling it with bright, stark colours playing into my colour-blindness.
